The Job
You are the lead Controls Engineer, responsible for the development of the brain of our wind turbines.
You will:
- Perform the selection/design of all control and safety system components/subsystems of the wind turbines.
- Interact with subcontractors to manage product development and innovation projects.
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers and certification bodies about control systems.
- Support wind turbines Factory Acceptance Test, Commissioning, and remote support during onsite interventions.
- Develop, enhance, and harmonise EOX S and EOX M Control and Safety System.
- Provide accurate Technical Design Documentation, Supply Specifications and Instructions.
- Liaise closely with Aeroelastic modeling Engineer to ensure good replication of simulation.
- Integration of Energy Storage Unit and development of Energy Management System.
- Support wind turbines performance optimization, maintainability enhancement, design-to-cost initiatives, and non-conformity analysis / corrective actions.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electromechanical, electrical or computer engineering, relevant working experience in international context.
- Expert knowledge on controls and development methodologies. Microgrid understanding.
- Knowledge of MATLAB Simulink, C#, IEC 61131-3 languages, TIA Portal, PLCNext Engineer.
- Knowledge of automation and power electronic solutions as Siemens, Mita, Phoenix Contact, ABB, Danfoss or others, is a plus.
- You speak English fluently and can write technical documentation in English.
- You could be willing to undergo the necessary training to work at heights.
