Announcement of a 3.2 MW Generator Project for Utility-Scale Wind Turbines

Harper Government Announces Clean Technology Projects Across Canada

Lévis, 31st January 2013 — Eocycle will work with two internationally-recognized organizations for achieving this important milestone: the Wind Energy Institute of Canada (WEICan) was selected for conducting tests and preparing test reports and Intertek for certification services. Power performance, safety, function, duration and acoustics emissions tests will be carried out to both the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Small Wind Turbine Performance and Safety Standardand the International Energy Commission (IEC) 61400 series of standards.
Wind Energy TechnoCentre Buys Two Eocycle 25 kW Wind Turbines for its Nordic Environment Test Site
Gaspé, 13 september 2012 — Eocycle Technologies is glad to announce that its EO-25/12 direct-drive 25 kW wind turbine has been selected by the Wind Energy TechnoCentre for its Nordic Environment Experimental Test Site under construction near Gaspé, Québec, Canada. This site aims at gaining a better understanding of the impact of the northern climate on the productivity of wind turbines, but is also used to carry out studies on the detection and accretion of ice and atmospheric ice and devise ways to efficiently use wind energy in northern communities.

Eocycle receives ul-1741 certificate of compliance for its proprietary 45kw utility-interactive inverter
On November 22, 2010 Eocycle Technologies received a Certificate of Compliance from QPS for its proprietary 45kW utility-interactive inverter. This Certificate establishes compliance of Eocycle’s inverter to UL 1741 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1-01 standards. Compliance to these standards is required by most utilities in the US and Canada as an assurance that interconnected distributed generation equipment will operate properly and safely with the power grid.
Eocycle’s proprietary 45kw utility-interactive inverter added to new york state list of certified equipment
On December 9, 2010 Eocycle’s proprietary 45kW utility-interactive inverter was added by the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) to its list of certified interconnection equipment. Equipment selected from the List of Certified Equipment maintained by the PSC is generally preferred by most power utilities operating in the State of New York.
